Curse Mackey
Known for his commanding, theatrical live performances, Curse Mackey has toured extensively across North America and Europe both as a solo artist and as a key member or collaborator in legendary acts like Pigface, My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, and Evil Mothers. His dynamic stage presence and evocative vocals have earned him a reputation as a must‑see performer in the underground scene, performing alongside the likes of Skinny Puppy, Clan of Xymox, and Thrill Kill Kult, while also supporting his own distinct solo sets across major festivals and DIY venues alike.
Originally from San Antonio and now based in Austin, TX, Curse has built a legacy on pushing sonic and visual boundaries, seamlessly blending gritty electronic beats with cinematic atmospheres and ritualistic energy.
Now, in 2025, Curse returns with Imaginary Enemies, the final chapter in a trilogy that began with Instant Exorcism (2019) and Immoral Emporium (2022). This new record is his most intense, personal, and poetically raw work yet—a dark meditation on grief, paranoia, and internal reckoning. The album merges Wax Trax!‑style industrial with haunting darkwave textures and uncompromising lyrical vulnerability.
Whether you’re drawn to high‑intensity industrial, haunting melodic atmospheres, or visionary stagecraft, Curse Mackey brings decades of lived experience and reinvention to the table.
