Eli Lev

Eli Lev's music is a heartfelt blend of folk, Americana, and heartfelt storytelling, enriched by a lifelong journey of cultural immersion and artistic risk-taking. He rose to prominence with The Four Directions Project, a set of four interconnected EPs—All Roads East (2017), Way Out West (2018), Deep South (2019), and True North (2021)—inspired by the indigenous traditions he encountered while teaching on the Navajo Nation in Northern Arizona .

As a grassroots artist, Eli has created a sweeping touring habit that defies typical expectations. In a recent year, he performed over 250 shows, traveling across the U.S., Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, Spain, and the U.K.—often playing intimate venues, house concerts, vineyards, and cultural spaces, all fueled by his passionate community of fans, known as the “Levitators” .

His new EP Past Lives, released as the second chapter of his Three Worlds Project, is built around the voices of his own ancestors—including his grandmother (Bubbe Sarah), Uncle Ben, and Aunt Evelyn—making it emotionally resonant and spiritually layered .

Eli’s approach to building a sustainable music career is rooted in independence and direct connection—leveraging crowdfunding, Patreon, email lists, and grassroots touring to earn a living while staying true to his art .

Whether you’re a nomadic musician, a DIY promoter, or a fan of deeply rooted storytelling, this conversation promises wisdom and real-world strategies you can take home.
