For sound engineers and venues
Get a stage plot from every band you mix
Bands without a stage plot can make one here in a few minutes, free, with no account. Send them the link with your advance and get back one page: the stage, the input list in desk order, monitors, power, and a phone number.
A message for your advance
Fill in the brackets and paste it into your advance email.
Hi [band name], Looking forward to the show on [show date]. Could you send your stage plot and input list by [deadline]? If you don't have them yet, you can make both free at https://www.tourouter.com/stage-plot. It takes a few minutes and needs no account, and the input list is built from the plot so they match. Please include a phone number for whoever knows your gear, and let us know if anything changes before the day. Thanks, [your name], [venue]
What you get back
The stage, drawn plainly
Who stands where, with names, from the audience's side. Stage left and right are labelled, and it prints clean in black and white.
An input list in desk order
Drums first, vocals last, with the mic or DI, the stand and 48V for every channel. It is built from the plot, so the two agree.
Monitors and power
One line per monitor mix, wedge or in-ears, and every power drop the stage needs.
Whose gear is whose
Each piece marked as the band's, the house's, shared or rented, so changeover holds no surprises.
Contacts and a date
Names and numbers on the page and the date it was made. If the band sends a live link, it also has a version number and a QR code that opens their newest version.
Questions
From engineers and venues.
Does the band need an account?
No. They make the plot in their browser and download the PDF. Nothing to sign up for, nothing to pay, and no watermark on what they send you.
What does it look like?
One page for most bands: the stage drawing on top, the input list, monitors and power below. The templates show ten real examples, from a solo singer to a band with horns.
What if the lineup changes?
The band edits the plot and downloads a new PDF with a new date, or sends a live link that always shows their newest version.
Can a band send just an input list?
Yes. The input list maker builds one on its own, as a PDF or a spreadsheet, for acts that don't need a full plot.
