Quick answers
Do I need the app, or can I do everything on the web?
Most of the job works on both. Planning the run is easiest on the web, and the show day is easiest on the phone. A few things are phone only today: taking a photo of a flyer to import it, inviting another band onto a Tour Package, and marking an expense as paid back. Each guide says which platform a step is on.
Does my crew need an account to get the day sheet?
No. Anyone on the tour's day sheet list gets it by email, and by text when they have a mobile number, whether or not they have an account. People with the app also get a push notification when the plan changes.
What costs money?
Planning is free with no time limit, and so is recording expenses and revenue. Sending day sheets, settling shows and exporting reports start when the tour goes on the road, with a Tour Pass or a plan. Crew and viewer seats are always free.
Can two bands share one tour?
Yes. Invite the other band from the tour's Team Members screen in the app and the tour becomes a Tour Package. Everyone shares the dates, venues and day sheets, and each band keeps its own crew, merch and money. Guest bands join free.
Can I use Tourouter outside the United States?
Yes. You can sign up from anywhere, venues and addresses work worldwide, and every schedule time shows in the local time of the place it happens. Money is shown in US dollars and distances in miles for now.
