Donna Lynch & Steven Archer / Ego Likeness
Formed in 1999 in Baltimore, Maryland, Ego Likeness is the creative partnership of vocalist/lyricist Donna Lynch and multi-instrumentalist/producer Steven Archer. Their music blends elements of goth, industrial, rock, and electronic dance, creating a sound that is both haunting and deeply human. Over the years, they've released several full-length albums, including Water to the Dead, Breedless, and When the Wolves Return, and have toured extensively across North America and Europe.
On stage, Ego Likeness is joined by long-time live members Mike K. Johnson on drums and Rick Furr (Mindcage Rick) on guitar. Mike K. Johnson, known for his work with Spider Lilies and LINDA, brings dynamic percussion to the band's live shows, while Mindcage Rick, a veteran of projects like Mindless Faith, Chemlab, and Bile, adds heavy, driving guitar textures.
Beyond Ego Likeness, Donna Lynch is a published author and poet, with works including Isabel Burning, Red Horses, and the Bram Stoker Award-nominated Choking Back the Devil. Steven Archer is a renowned visual artist and musician, also known for his projects Stoneburner, ::hopeful machines::, and Queen Neon.
Whether you're a longtime fan or just discovering their world, this is a conversation you won’t want to miss.
