Acoustic trio stage plot template
Three players in a row: guitar and vocals seated at stage right, upright bass standing in the middle, fiddle and vocals seated at stage left. Acoustic plots matter more than they look, because acoustic instruments feed back easily and the engineer needs to plan the wedges.
The upright is on a DI with phantom power, which most pickups need. If yours uses a mic, change the row.

What it asks of the venue
This plot needs 5 channels, which fits easily on a small club's 16-channel desk. It asks for 3 monitor mixes, and no power on stage.
Everything on it is the band's own, so the venue only needs to provide the mics, DIs, stands, cables and monitors in the lists.
Making it yours
- Ask for chairs without arms if you play seated. Put it in the notes; venues forget.
- Keep wedges low for acoustic instruments. Say you'd like "just enough to hear the others".
