Five-piece band with keys stage plot template

A five-piece with keys at stage right beside the bass, the singer at center, and the guitarist at stage left. The keys come in stereo, which takes two channels, and every player gets their own mix.

Five mixes is a lot for a small room. If the venue can't do that, say which people can share.

What it asks of the venue

This plot asks for 14 channels. A small club may have 16 for the whole night, shared by every band, so if you're on a shared bill, say in the notes which channels you can drop, such as the toms or the overheads. It asks for 5 monitor mixes and 4 power drops (places that need an outlet).

From the house: riser. Check they have it when you advance the show; if not, bring your own or ask what they can do.

Making it yours

  • The keys player sings here, so their vocal mic sits on the keys side and the cables stay short. Delete it if yours doesn't sing.
  • Bring a stand for the keys if you can. Venues rarely have a spare one.
